Our Sleeper Design dining tables and benches are handmade to order in England using rustic pine along with high-quality British steel. The railway sleeper style timber tops along with the striking box frame industrial steel base are weatherproofed to a commercial standard for durability and longevity, ensuring that this distinctive and stand-out range can be used both outdoors and indoors.

The Sleeper Design dining furniture is available in both standard and custom sizes, please get in touch for any size. Double width benches are also available.

With this versatile, handcrafted, made-to-order dining furniture, not only can you be sure of characterful and distinctive dining tables and benches, but you can ensure that it fits exactly where you want it, whether that’s outside or inside. The sleeper style timber used gives a unique feel to the furniture due to the natural occurrence of knots, indentations and slight imperfections that vary in size and location. These beautiful intricacies and variations create a highly sought-after rustic character and complement the railway sleeper design perfectly.

The Sleeper Design dining furniture is available as a matching set with benches or on its own as a standalone dining table. 

A parasol hole can also be added upon request.

Colours

As a made-to-order range, our Commercial Sleeper Design Outdoor/Indoor Dining Furniture can be stained in various colours. The different colour options are: 

Rugger Brown - a rich oak colour and the final finish will vary from a medium to a dark oak look depending on the timber used. See the main product photos for Rugger Brown examples.

Grey - a contemporary grey colour that still brings out the features and grains of the timber.

Finish 

The timber tops of our Commercial Sleeper Design Outdoor/Indoor Dining Furniture are all finished with a Commercial grade protective lacquer to guard against the elements and are stained and sealed on the undersides for extra weather protection. The steel frames are zinc blasted and then powder coated. These high-quality finishes ensure the durability, longevity and weather resistance of the furniture,

Use & Aftercare

For maximum longevity, we would advise covering the furniture when not in use to help protect it from the elements, particularly if always kept outdoors. To help further preserve the furniture, you may also wish to store it indoors during the winter months.

Use a damp, lint-free cloth for easy cleaning. Use pH balanced wood cleaners. Avoid abrasive cleaners/sanitisers.

Over time and with weather exposure, the rustic timber tops will require refinishing to ensure maximum longevity and to re-colour the timber.

Rustic Character

The character of this Commercial Sleeper Design furniture is created by the rustic pine used in the handcrafting process. Details such as knots, indentations and blemishes, bring a unique feel to your furniture as they vary in size and location depending on the piece. 

As a natural living material, the wood will develop over time and adjust as it ages and weathers, sometimes causing splits and spreading. The distinctive qualities and details created by the timber offer a desirable character that is to be expected with wooden furniture. Covering, storing and refinishing your furniture from time to time will ensure maximum longevity. 

Features

Indoor / Outdoor: Our Commercial Sleeper Design dining tables and benches are handcrafted using high-quality timber and steel that is finished with a protective finish making them suitable for the outdoors as well as inside too. This versatile table with its thick, railway sleeper style timber tops will create a stand-out centrepiece in any space, no matter where you place it. 

Adjustable feet: The bases of this bespoke table are fitted with adjustable feet which will help with balancing the furniture on hard surfaces to help ensure they are level.

Optional parasol hole: A parasol hole can also be added upon request, please request this in the order notes box during checkout. 

Steel frames/powder coating: The bases of our Commercial Sleeper Design Outdoor/Indoor dining tables and benches are made with high-quality British steel that is cut and welded to order into a distinctive box frame style. The steel frame is zinc blasted and powder-coated black for durability, longevity and weather resistance. Other colour options are available, get in touch to discuss further. 

A complete dining set: Our Commercial Sleeper Design Outdoor/Indoor furniture is available to buy as a table on its own or as part of a set that includes up to two benches. These benches have the same distinctive railway sleeper design and make for a perfect outdoor or indoor dining set. 

Our Commercial Sleeper Design Furniture is handmade to order. The current lead time is approximately 4-6 weeks. If you need it sooner, please get in touch! You will be contacted by email and SMS prior to delivery to advise of delivery timescales.

As standard, our Commercial Sleeper Design Furniture is delivered and fully assembled onsite with no additional charge to most mainland UK locations. Additional delivery time and charges may apply for long distance areas and complex/large volume orders.

The furniture is typically delivered unassembled to aid with access to properties. 

Returns 

If you have any concerns with your furniture, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Our friendly team always endeavours to resolve any concerns initially. 

Defective, incorrect or missing items will always be resolved free of charge.
