Bespoke Collection - Solid Oak Dining Table Set - Chunky U Base

Our beautifully handcrafted Chunky U Base Solid Oak dining set combines characterful oak wood with an industrial-style steel frame to create statement pieces of furniture.

Part of our Bespoke Collection range, handmade to order in England using FSC certified, sustainable solid oak wood and high-quality British steel. The contemporary look of the timber complemented by the industrial style of the metal base creates a stylish and characterful dining table and bench with a versatile and enduring charm.

With a wide range of sizes, the bespoke nature of this dining set means that not only can you be sure of a stunning and beautiful piece of furniture but you can also be sure it fits perfectly into any space. Our solid oak dining table and bench is finished with a water-resistant, clear satin oil to provide protection while showcasing the natural beauty of the timber.

The characterful nature of the timber used means that each piece of furniture is one of a kind and unique to you. Beautiful details such as natural grains, knots and bumps will appear differently on every piece of furniture creating an irreplaceable highly sought-after character. Benches are typically made 30cm shorter than table lengths to allow them to slide underneath for space saving. If you wish to seat people at the table ends, please request this to allow the bases to be set further in. Benches will not then slide fully underneath.

Character

The characteristics of our bespoke collection make each item of furniture truly unique. Handcrafted and made to order from solid oak; knots, grains, marks and holes of all shapes and sizes are likely to show up differently on each plank of wood. The natural grain, coupled with the beautiful imperfections and natural undulation of the timber all combine to create sleek styled, one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture. 

The photos are intended to serve as a guide. As solid oak wood is a natural material which varies by batch, the appearance of the wood and exact colour may vary from the photos shown. Lighting in the photos can also vary.

As a natural living material, solid oak wood develops over time. With the natural adjustment of the wood acclimatising to a new environment, changes such as surface splits may start to appear. For more information, please see here.

Returns 

If you have any concerns with your furniture, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Our friendly team always endeavours to resolve any concerns initially. 

If we’re unable to resolve your concerns and your furniture doesn't have a manufacturing defect or if you’ve changed your mind, we can arrange for a collection and refund. A collection, refinishing and restocking charge will apply. Returns do not apply to custom products made to custom specifications or dimensions. These items cannot be returned.
