Our beautifully handcrafted X Frame reclaimed wood dining table combines characterful reclaimed and rustic wood with an industrial style steel frame to create statement pieces of furniture. Add extra functionality with the extending option.

All of our Bespoke Collection range is handmade to order in England using sustainable, British reclaimed and rustic pine wood as well high-quality British steel. The contemporary rustic look of the timber complemented by the industrial style of the metal base creates a stylish and characterful dining table with a versatile and enduring charm. The reclaimed and rustic nature of the timber used means that each piece of furniture is one of a kind and unique to you. Beautiful details such as natural grains, knots and bumps will appear differently on every piece of furniture creating an irreplaceable highly sought-after rustic character. The extending tables have two fully removable leaves that attach at either end. As shown in the photos, the leaves slide into fixed metalwork on the underside of the table top. This allows you to extend the table with either just one or both extension leaves, depending on what you require at the time. Being fully removable, the leaves can be stored away when not in use. The leaves must be stored in a dry, indoor location and not exposed to fluctating temperatures.

The standard configuration is to have two 30cm leaves made but if you require a custom configuration, please contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss the options with you.

The extender leaves are braced underneath with wooden lateral supports to give the timber extra stability. We advise that the extending leaves are left fitted to the table for about 1 month after taking delivery. This helps the table and the leaves adjust to the new setting at the same rate.

The standard frames are a gun metal mid-grey natural steel finish with flashed/grinded silver areas in the middle section of the steel and around the feet, for an industrial look and style. This applies to both tables and benches. Please see the example photo below (note this frame is our Chunky X Frame furniture, the frames are slimmer on the standard X Frame furniture).

Benches are typically made 30cm shorter than table lengths to allow them to slide underneath for space saving. If you wish to seat people at the table ends, please request this to allow the bases to be set further in. Benches will not then slide fully underneath.

Colours

All Bespoke Collection furniture can be stained in various colours. The different colour options are shown below. 

The photos are intended to serve as a guide. As reclaimed and rustic wood is a natural material which varies by batch, the appearance of the wood and exact colour may vary from the photos shown. Lighting in the photos can also vary.

Driftwood -  typically a darker version of our Light Driftwood finish with a mix of natural wood tones and some similarities to a pine-coloured wood.

Light Driftwood - a light, natural clear colour. Similar to a pine colour bringing out the natural colour and features of the timber.

Rugger Brown - a rich oak colour and the final finish will vary from a medium to a dark oak look depending on the timber used.

Grey Wash - a light natural colour bringing out the character and natural colour of the timber together with subtle hints of grey which varies in different lights.

White Wash - This is a contemporary light stain, similar to a light beech finish.

Hard Wax Oil Protective Finish

The protective finish is a blend of natural oils and waxes designed to provide durability and resistance to liquids and everyday wear. The matt-satin finish gives a natural appearance to the timber. 

While the protective finish adds durability, we recommend using placemats and coasters to preserve the appearance and longevity of the furniture.

• Use & Aftercare: We strongly advise against using household cleaners on our furniture as they often contain harsh chemicals that will degrade both the finish and the timber over time. Please see our handy FAQ guide for more helpful information.

The characteristics of our bespoke collection make each item of furniture truly unique. Handcrafted and made to order from reclaimed and rustic pine; knots, grains, marks and holes of all shapes and sizes are likely to show up differently on each plank of wood. The natural grain and weathered look of this collection coupled with the beautiful rustic imperfections and natural undulation of the timber all combine to create characterful, one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture.

As a natural living material, reclaimed and rustic wood develops over time. With the natural adjustment of the wood acclimatising to a new environment, changes such as surface splits may start to appear. For more information about reclaimed furniture, please see here.

Sustainable: Crafted in the United Kingdom from British reclaimed and sustainably sourced rustic pine wood. Our bespoke furniture features high-quality, beautifully unique and sustainable timber creating individual charm and character.

Extendable: This bespoke dining table is available in multiple sizes and can also be turned into an extendable table by creating a 30cm detachable leave that slots into either end of the table. The leave is made from the same wood as the main table and its size can be varied if required.

Steel frames: The steel used for the X frame base is handpicked for quality and is cut and welded to order with silver marks on the joins from welding. The standard frames are a gun metal mid-grey natural steel finish with flashed/grinded silver areas in the middle section of the steel and around the feet, for an industrial look and style. This applies to both tables and benches. Returns 

If you have any concerns with your furniture, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Our friendly team always endeavours to resolve any concerns initially. 

If we’re unable to resolve your concerns and your furniture doesn't have a manufacturing defect or if you’ve changed your mind, we can arrange for a collection and refund. A collection, refinishing and restocking charge will apply. Defective, incorrect or missing items will always be resolved free of charge. For more information please see our returns and refunds policy.

Returns do not apply to custom products made to custom specifications or dimensions. These items cannot be returned.
