Its story

Choose from a selection of colours and finishes. For more details and photos of the different finishes, see The Finishes section below.

For White Wash and Grey Wash colour options, please select the Matt Water Resistant Lacquer Finish option above.

Made in the heart of England, from British reclaimed pine wood and steel hand picked for quality, character and durability (see The Finer Details tab for more information), the industrial Triangle Bench features the same steel base and reclaimed wooden top to complement the Triangle Base dining table.

The Triangle Base is still our best selling base! A simple yet eye catching piece of contemporary furniture that will be a centrepiece in any space! Its combination of characterful, reclaimed wood and seamless steel gives the Triangle Base an industrial yet modern design. A truly stunning and striking piece of furniture that will give any home, bar or restaurant a feeling of comfort and quality.

  • The design of this bench, when paired with the matching Reclaimed Dining Table - Triangle Frame, enables it to slide fully underneath when not in use. Great for space saving!
  • Part of the charm of reclaimed furniture, as a natural, living material, is that it develops over time. This means that surface splits/spreading may start to appear with the natural movement of the wood when it adjusts to a new environment. Knots will vary in size and location, each piece of furniture will have varying indentations and imperfections, and some colour/finish variation may also be expected - the appearance of the wood and exact colour/finish may vary from the photos shown. These distinctive qualities give the reclaimed range a unique feel, as no two pieces will be exactly the same.
  • Available in various different sizes. Please note the benches are made 30cm shorter in length than the table to allow them to fully slide under the table when not in use – please choose bench size accordingly to your table length.

Choose from a selection of colours and finishes - see The Finishes section below for more details.

The Finishes

Our reclaimed furniture range is available in a great selection of colours and finishes. Our White Wash and Grey Wash colours are only available in lacquer finish.

Wax vs. Lacquer

Reclaimed furniture with a wax finish will often have a smoother final finish whilst also preserving the natural features of the reclaimed wood. With a wax finish, aftercare will be required from time to time to help maintain the finish.

With a lacquer finish, the final finish will likely be more grainy and highlight the natural characteristics of the reclaimed wood. It can appear more rustic. It's typically a more robust finish, making it more durable against marking or staining and will also add more water resistance to the wood. Making it a great option if you expect a lot of staining or spillages and for use in bars, restaurants, offices and any other commercial use.

For further details of the aftercare of the different finishes, please see the Reclaimed Furniture Aftercare Section of our FAQ page.

The Colours

Driftwood is the lightest, a natural clear colour. Rugger brown has an rusty oak effect finish and walnut, the darkest of the three.

Driftwood

Driftwood is the lightest, a natural clear colour. Similar to a pine coloured wood.

Rugger Brown

Rugger brown has an rusty oak effect finish, similar to a medium oak colour.

Walnut

Walnut is the darkest of the three standard colours we offer.

We can also apply a wash finish such as a grey or white wash should you be looking for something more bespoke. A clear matt water resistant lacquer varnish will then be applied.

Grey Wash

This is a dark stain with a subtle hint of grey, which varies depending on lighting.

White Wash

This is a light stain, similar to a light beech finish.

We can offer different finishes for the steel bases, just get in touch to discuss further.

The finer details

Origins
Our reclaimed furniture range is made using reclaimed pine, hand picked from various old industrial buildings across the UK. It was mainly used as floor joists in its previous life so has lots of history, character and detail you will only find in genuine reclaimed wood. It is also extremely heavy and durable, always a sign of great quality.

The reclaimed planks are joined to form the finishing touches to all our furniture, whether it be a dining table, side unit, bench, desk… possibilities are endless when each piece is lovingly restored to measure by hand!

All the solid steel bases and frames are hand made to order. The steel is bought in long strips, this is then cut and welded to form the unique furniture designs. The steel is gunmetal grey in colour and the silver marks on the joins are from welding the steel together, making each piece bespoke whilst adding to the industrial look.

To ensure the steel stays looking perfect, the bases are all finished with a clear matt lacquer coating.
